Beast Race

Nature-Magic
Some are a combination of both- the alignment will not affect the creature's powers or abilities in any way. This is merely an attempt at organization among the races!
Difference between demonic/unholy: demons are of pure dark energy, while "unholy" will mostly be classified with creatures that once had a physical life. demons usually were never once human- the unholy were likely once human, or are humanoid

Ghost
Power: Can possess people, and channel the abilities they used to have in the living world, through their host.
Limitations: Can only possess people with permission. Includes a single NPC at a time.
Golem
Power: Can commune with wildlife.
Limitation: Will overheat in the sunlight.
Siren
Power: Luring and manipulating men and women with enchanted songs. Siren's are often mistaken for mermaids, and have been known to devour the souls of their victims in order to live longer and regenerate their youth. These creatures can assume the form of a human, usually their last victim.
Limitation: If the song is interrupted the victims are snapped out of their daze. Needs permission. Human form is usually flawed.
Mermaid
Power: Can heal wounds and have an immortal lifespan, although they can die from normal causes. They do not like people, and have been known to viciously attack and kill sailors that get too close.
Limitation: Cannot leave the water for more than a day at the risk of sudden death.
Centaur
Power: Looks cool, crazy stamina.
Limitations: There is no way a centaur is going to fit into a tavern.
Satyr
Power: Looks cool, minor control over plant growth.
Limitations: Not very strong.
Minotaur
Power: Increased strength.
Limitations: Not very agile.
Nekomata (Cat Spirit)
Power: Cat-like humanoids who can see in the dark and have enhanced hearing. They can take on the form of a twin tailed cat.
Limitations: Cannot digest anything other than meat and cannot hide their demonic attributes in human form.
Nue (Japanese Chimera)
Power: Can produce electricty.
Limitations: Cannot use consistently, without the risk of harming itself with it's own abilities.
Kirin (Japanese Unicorn)
Power: Blood can disinfect wounds, as well as the sap its many horns produce. Severed horns will continue to produce sap, which hummingbirds are drawn to. Unfortunately the birds are rather aggressive, and may attack anyone who draws close to the kirin.
Limitations: Cannot control the hummingbirds that feed off of it.
Kitsune (Fox Spirit)
Power: Can communicate with wildlife, and humans alike. Can also see the true nature of the people around them, but may not understand what they are seeing. Can assume the form of a human.
Limitations: Cannot do all that OP stuff Kitsune's are associated with, because that usually breaks the whole RP. Need permission to see another player's true nature.
Katakirauwa (Soul Thief)
Power: Dead pigs that can snatch your soul. To make things more interesting, some can take human form.
Limitations: Cannot steal souls without permission.
Gryphon
Power: Can telepathically communicate.
Limitation: Only from a short distance.
Eastern Dragon
Power: Can manipulate the water around it.
Limitations: Excessive manipulation weakens the dragon, making it slow and lethargic.
*Western Dragons are not allowed. This is because they have been abused by players in the past as OP weapons of mass destruction.
Pygmy Wyvern
Power: A small little dragon about the size of a loaf of bread. It can belch up small flames. These are the only Western dragons capable of surviving in the foreign land of Tanoshii, as Eastern Dragons make quick work of anything more pesky.
Limitations:
Belching too much flame makes the little guys sick and unhealthy. Forcing themselves to excessively use their power can even lead to a sudden, unexpected death.
Chimera
Power: Generating paralyzing toxins.
Limitation: Has little endurance, and cannot stand large amounts of pain as it is a highly sensitive creature.
Sphinx
Power: An ancient creature that uses riddles as a way to trap humans into supernatural deals usually involving the other party's soul. They can take on the form of a human with eerie cat-like eyes.
Limitations: It's got the soul of a human but it won't be invited to any parties anytime soon. They are bound to their contracts, if they accidentally made an error in it they will have to live by it for the rest of their lives.
Werewolf
Power: Unwillingly turning into a mindless beast at night.
Limitations: Cannot control the monster they become. Passes infection with a bite.
Vampire
Power: Cannot die of old age.
Limitations: "AHHH ZE SUN BURNZ" -A vampire that attempted to tan itself. Requires human blood, cannot tolerate substitutes.
Hinoenma (Japanese Succubus)
Power: Feeds on the life force of mortals to survive. Such as blood, fluids, and energy.
Limitations: Without feeding at least once a week, they will die.
Oni (Japanese Demon)
Power: Increased strength.
Limitations: Water burns it's skin.
